Mike Smith’s Solo ride – London to Paris for Head for Change
Mike is making plans for the longest ride of his life to date. This won’t be just any ride…
Starting from Trafalgar Square on the afternoon of Friday, 26th of June, Mike will be heading down to Newhaven, boarding the ferry to cross to Dieppe. Disembarking at 5 AM, he will continue his adventure to Paris, hoping to arrive by mid-afternoon on Saturday, 27th.
Originally planned as another solo adventure on two wheels, a suggestion was made that he took on this challenge in support of a charity. ‘Great idea,’ he thought…
So… he was involved at the ‘Head for Change’ 828 challenge and was deeply inspired by the mission and impact the charity has.
This journey is not just about cycling; it’s about raising awareness and funds for those affected by brain injury.
Every pedal stroke will symbolise hope and resilience for individuals who face daily challenges due to their conditions. We often forget that some people give their all on the pitch to allow us on the sidelines to enjoy the sports we love, not just on the pitch but in all the sacrifices they make in their personal lives too.
Mike invites you to support him in this cause.
Your support can make a significant difference in the lives of many. Together, we can help continue the vital work of Head for Change and bring light into the lives of those who need it most.
